WHAT TO EXPECT/ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The adrenaline rises as you see the void beneath your feet. Hook the carabiners to the metal rope, climb on the rock, and reach Forte Barba di Fior with a professional Alpine guide. Face 3 activities in one: via ferrata, a 30-meter abseil, and a 70-meter zipline. This via ferrata is ideal for adults to learn wall movement techniques and for youngsters to challenge themselves

INTERESTING FACTS/INFO

At the end of the via ferrata, you will arrive at Forte Barba di Fior, a fortification dating back to the First World War, built in the early 20th century to defend the borders of the Austro-Hungarian Empire from Italian invasions. Today, only the ruins of the fort remain, but in the past, the fortress served a crucial defensive function for the entire Val di Peio and beyond.

We are the Val di Sole Mountaineering and Ski Mountaineering School, international mountain guides, the only recognized figures for guiding both climbing and high-altitude ascents.

WHAT WE SUPPLY

Wear mountain clothing, bring a backpack, water bottle, and a pair of shoes with a good sole (preferably hiking boots). We also suggest wearing via ferrata or work gloves.

WHO IS ADRESSED

Suitable for all ages from 8 years old and up. Ideal activity for families and groups of friends. As it is a via ferrata, there will be exposed sections.

EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING 

Wear mountain clothing, bring along a backpack, water bottle, and a pair of shoes with good soles (preferably hiking boots). We also suggest wearing via ferrata gloves or work gloves.

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

The activity is confirmed in case of light rain. Otherwise, it will be canceled, and it will be possible to arrange another date.
