In the Footsteps of Tradition: Guided Hike to the Mountain Farming Museum
A fascinating journey back in time to discover alpine life of the past, amidst historic barns ("masi"), pristine nature, and authentic traditional flavors.
Accompanied by an expert guide, we will walk along a scenic path dotted with ancient traditional mountain barns. Along the way, not only will you admire the rural architecture of yesteryear, but your guide will also reveal the secrets of the local flora, sharing stories, curiosities, and the everyday uses of plants in mountain life.
The highlight of the excursion will be the visit to the Mountain Farming Museum, a true treasure trove of memories preserving tools, traditional costumes, and testimonies of an ancient, fascinating culture. Mid-morning, we will enjoy a special stop for a delicious included snack at an authentic local barn ("masi") to savor the genuineness of local products.

Meeting Point: 9:00 AM at the Cogolo Tourist Office.

Transportation: Participants must have their own car for a short drive from the tourist office. The walking portion of the tour will start from the beautiful Spini area.

Snack at the Barn: around 11:00 AM, a pleasant gourmet break at a local village barn.
