WHAT WE SUPPLY

To discover the animals in the woods, a thermal imaging camera will be provided by the Park. Contact can be avoided with a thermal camera because the images will be shown on a screen. A headlight is also needed to safely walk in the woods at night. Please bring one with you. If you don’t have one, you can borrow one of the Park’s that will be disinfected before use.
The price also includes dinner in a traditional malga hut, where you will have a chance to talk about the wildlife with a Stelvio National Park expert.
 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

This activity is perfect if you love nature. Suitable for adults and families with children preferably age 10+ .

EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING

Hiking boots, jacket, backpack, waterproof wind jacket, comfortable and warm clothing. 
 

MEETING POINT

• Excursion in Val di Peio on Sunday 22 September: meeting point at the main headquarters of the Stelvio National Park in Cogolo.
  At the junction to Val di Peio, take the SP 87 provincial road to Cogolo di Peio. At the entrance to the town follow via Roma and continue onwards for approx. 50 meters until you reach n. 65
• Excursion in Val di Rabbi on Sunday 29 September and 6 October: meeting point at the Visitors Center in Rabbi Fonti.Rabbi Fonti along the SP 86 provincial road, just before the thermal spa center.

You will need to take your own vehicle from the meeting point to the starting point of the excursion.

In the event of severe weather, the experience will be canceled and rescheduled or refunded.
