Agriculture Fest

Colors and sounds steeped in traditions and good taste

Agriculture Festival Week in Val di Pejo

The importance of mountain livestock farming is celebrated every year through a variety of traditional festivals marking the end of the summer season. In Val di Pejo, the Agriculture Festival takes place annually in mid-September: a wonderful weekend dedicated to rural traditions, authentic local cuisine, hands-on workshops, and fun activities for all ages.

It is a true journey back in time, reaching its highlight with the exciting "Palio delle Frazioni", a friendly competition between the villages of the "Valeta," where participants compete in traditional rural tasks and skills that once formed the backbone of everyday mountain life.

Educational Farm

The Val di Pejo always warmly welcomes the little ones. During the festival, children can get close to the animals at the educational farm: they can pet the lambs, and watch the chickens, pigs, and rabbits. In the drawing workshops, guided by author Simone Ferriani and the Stelvio National Park team, children can unleash their creativity by drawing the farm animals and making up unique stories.
